Highlights of the group stage of the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021

The group stage of the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 has come to an end, which presented some interesting reasons for reasoning. At the same time, out of eight participants in the championship, two teams have already ordered tickets home, and failed to impose a fight on the favorites. At the same time, there is also a bright sensation, since Enterprise, unexpectedly for many, remained on board the tournament, having managed to make it to the quarterfinals.

Group A

The group stage of the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 opened with an unremarkable meeting between Gambit and Fiend. However, already here the fans were waiting for the first loud sensation, since the Bulgarian team did not notice the TOP-2 team of the world rating, rolling sh1ro and the company on Dust 2 with a score of 16: 9. At the same time, BIG was able to find the strength not to fool the expectations of their fans, beating eSuba on Mirage quite confidently (16:10).

In the elimination match, Gambit continued to show weak CS, almost losing the first map against eSuba. However, the Russian team managed to wake up in the end, having made a difficult comeback. This finally put an end to the prospects of the Czech team, which did not come up with anything on Overpass and went to pack their bags. The match for a direct ticket to the semifinals of the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 was no less hot, because already on the first map, Fiend forced the favorite to recoup. However, BIG found the strength not only to take Mirage, but also to close the series in their favor, thereby sending the Bulgarian team to the quarterfinals.

Group B

In the second quartet, it all started with a terrifying Sinners defeat to Entropiq, in which oskar and company managed to win just two rounds on Mirage. At the same time, the Spaniards from Movistar Riders were unpleasantly surprised, who in their opening match did not cope with Enterprise (11:16), going to conquer the lower bracket.

However, the Spanish team did not have to make a lot of efforts, since Sinners clearly wanted to leave the championship as soon as possible. As a result, two frankly weak cards from the Czech team predetermined Movistar Riders' ticket to the quarterfinals of the tournament. At the same time, Entropiq outplayed Enterprise in the battle for a place in the semi-finals. At the same time, the Russian team still managed to lose on Nuke, thereby returning the intrigue to the match. On the decisive map Mirage, however, everything became completely clear as Entropiq turned on the maximum to reclaim its slot in the semi-finals.
