/The V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 Play-In has come to an end, which means that the time has come to sum up the results of the first stage of the competition and draw the first conclusions. There were enough interesting results - what is only the failure of the Polish teams AGO and Wisla Krakow. At the same time, four teams qualified for the main stage of the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021, where they will join BIG, Gambit, Entropiq and Movistar Riders. In this regard, we propose to brush up on the Play-In stage.
Group A
As we know, the Play-In stage began with the group stage, where the opening matches were played in the BO1 format. This became the main reason for the sensation, as Sinners and AGO, being the favorites of the quartet, unexpectedly lost to ONYX and eSuba, respectively. At the same time, the Czechoslovak team seized the opportunity to advance to the main part of the championship from the first place, having dealt with ONYX.
The AGO team left the championship early, having lost in the starting round, did not manage to adapt to the game from the stage and suddenly lost to Sinners. At the same time, the last ticket to the main part of the tournament went to the Czech team, which in BO3 managed to take revenge from ONYX and take second place in their group.
Group B
The opening tour was similar to the previous group, as the duo of favorites Wisla Krakow and Fiend lost to ENTERPRISE and Team Hungary, respectively, creating a sensation. At the same time, the Bulgarian team turned out to be stronger than the Poles, sending them to pack their bags. In the battle for the first line, ENTERPRISE nevertheless coped with the national team, consisting of Budapest Five players, thereby paving its way to the next stage. But in the decisive match, Fiend managed to take revenge from Team Hungary in order to take the vacant second place in the quartet.
