VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025: Team Vitality defeated T1
The second day of VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025 was opened by a match between Vitality and T1. The European team, Team Vitality, was the favorite in this matchup, while T1 Esports had little faith from both fans and bookmakers before the match.
The first map of the series was Fracture, picked by Vitality. Despite T1 Esports having a strong first half and leading 7:5, they struggled on the attacking side. Team Vitality capitalized on this weakness and closed out their map pick with a 13:10 victory.
On the second map, Bind, the first half was again closely contested and ended with the same 7:5 scoreline, this time in favor of Team Vitality. Once again, T1 Esports switched to the attacking side and faced similar difficulties. This series clearly showed that T1 Esports struggled to structure their rounds properly on attack, allowing Team Vitality to read their plays with ease and counter them effectively. As a result, Bind ended with a 13:9 victory for Team Vitality.
Team Vitality secure a 2:0 victory, and their next opponent will be DRX, whom they will face on February 22. Meanwhile, T1 Esports will take the stage on February 23, where they will go up against Trace Esports.
The VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 is the premier tournament series for VALORANT, with teams qualifying throughout the year. At the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 Masters Bangkok, eight teams will compete for a prize pool of $500,000 USD and VCT Points. The event is taking place in Bangkok, Thailand.
