Shopify Rebellion GC advances to VCT 2022: Game Changers Championship Grand Finals
The Shopify Rebellion GC team outperformed Team Liquid Brazil with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they advanced to the grand finals of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Championship. Here, the North American team will meet with G2 Gozen, who plays undefeated at the championship. In turn, Team Liquid Brazil finished their journey in the tournament, taking third place and earning $80,000.
The finals of the lower bracket started on the Fracture map, which became the choice of the North American team. At the same time, Shopify Rebellion GC almost immediately seized the initiative on the server, managing to knock out the minimum advantage on the side switching — 7:5. In the second half, the players of Team Liquid Brazil failed to impose a fight, while the North American team played well on defense and took the lead in the series — 13:9.
