G2 Gozen beats Team Liquid Brazil to advance to VCT 2022: Game Changers Championship Grand Finals
Team G2 Gozen defeated Team Liquid Brazil 2-0 to qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Championship Grand Finals and get an extra day off. In turn, the Brazilian team falls into the finals of the lower bracket, where they will meet the winner of the Shopify Rebellion GC match - Cloud9 White.

The final of the upper bracket started on the Ascent map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. However, the teams showed an equal game, failing to determine the winner in the first half - 6:6. After the change of sides, the situation did not change in any way, because of which the participants had to play overtime. But here G2 Gozen was more successful, thanks to which the team took the lead in the series — 14:12.
The teams then moved on to the Breeze map, which became G2 Gozen's choice. At the same time, the European team tried to dictate its terms, which resulted in a minimal advantage at the end of the first half — 7:5. After the change of sides, the Brazilians still tried to return to the game and even knocked out the opponent's economy. But in the very end, G2 Gozen managed to turn the tide of the match in their favor in order to reach the grand final of the championship — 13:10.
