G2 Gozen wins VCT 2022: Game Changers Championship

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Championship has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held from November 15 to 20 in Berlin at the LEC Studio, eight women's teams from Europe, Asia, Japan, North and Latin America competed for a total prize pool of $500,000. The winner of the tournament was the G2 Gozen team, which in the tense grand final was stronger than Shopify Rebellion GC with a score of 3:2 (Pearl - 9:13; Bind - 9:13; Ascent - 13:3; Icebox - 13:2; Breeze - 13:5).

In the course of the competition, the wards of Carcass did not suffer a single defeat, starting their journey with a confident victory over X10 Sapphire (2:0). In the semi-finals of the tournament, the European team turned out to be stronger than Cloud9 White (2:0) to go to the final of the upper bracket and beat Team Liquid Brazil (2:0) there.

The grand final for the team started with losses on the Pearl and Bind maps. However, here the opponent clearly believed in victory, while G2 Gozen did not give up in order to win on the Ascent, Icebox and Breeze maps, and at the same time win the series and become the champion of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Championship.
