100 Thieves sensationally defeated Fnatic 2:1 in the group stage of VALORANT Champions 2022. Now the North American team will face DRX, arguing for the right to qualify for the championship playoffs. In turn, the team from Europe will play with FURIA Esports, playing for the right to stay in the competition.

An intriguing confrontation started on the Pearl map, which became the choice of the North American team. At the same time, the first half was held in an equal fight, and ended with parity. And yet, after switching sides, 100 Thieves managed to show a couple of good rounds in attack, thanks to which they took the lead in the series - 13:10.

Next, the teams moved to the Bind map, which turned out to be Fnatic's pick. Here the game turned upside down as the European team quickly took control of the initiative and closed the first half with a twofold advantage. After the side switch, 100 Thieves players were no longer able to return to the fight, while Fnatic quickly increased their lead and equalized the score in the series - 13:7.

Everything was decided on the Haven map, the first half of which ended in a draw. However, after the change of sides, the North American team did not leave a single chance for the opponent, having managed to get the first victory at the championship in Istanbul — 13:7.
