Despite significant nerfs to Chamber, VALORANT Champions 2022 continued to prioritize the Agent on nearly all maps. Chamber was selected 67.35% of the time in the group stage of the championship, ahead of agent Fade, who finished second with 54.08%.

After several teams dropped out of the competition, Chamber's selection percentage dropped slightly. However, this did not stop the agent from being the most popular agent at VALORANT Champions 2022, with a final 66.86% of picks.

Notably, the two rarest agents at VALORANT Champions 2022 were Yoru and Reyna, who were selected 4 times in total (2 times each).

Probably, the developers will continue to work on reducing the dependence of players on Chamber skills. However, the fact that the agent remains in the meta throughout the season speaks to the commitment of the teams to the standard layout for FPS shooters using AWP.

VALORANT Champions 2022 took place from August 31 to September 18 in Istanbul at the Volkswagen Arena. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, China and Southeast Asia competed for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
