FunPlus Phoenix looks forward to ANGE1 participation at VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen
/According to insider George Geddes, European collective FunPlus Phoenix is looking forward to ANGE1's participation in the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen. Despite early rumors, the club's management plans to support the Ukrainian in obtaining permission to leave the country.
Multiple sources close to the team told Dot Esports that there is a “50/50” chance for Shao and SUYGETSU to participate, while FunPlus Phoenix is confident that the Ukrainian government will give ANGE1 permission to leave the country and attend the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen.
At the same time, the team has already managed to agree with the Danish duo SEIDER and Masked, as well as the Polish player KEREME. The trio managed to get into the application for the championship and will be able to help the team if they need replacements.
Recall that FunPlus Phoenix took second place in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers, losing in the grand final to Fnatic with a score of 0:3.
The current roster for VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen is as follows: Guild Esports, Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, OpTic Gaming, DRX, XSET, XERXIA, Leviatán, LOUD, Paper Rex and Northeption.
VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen will take place July 10-24 in Copenhagen in a mixed format. The first weeks of the championship will be held in a studio format, while the final three days will take place at the Forum venue. As part of the championship, twelve participants from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia will play for an unannounced prize pool, as well as rating points.
Note that the last three days of the championship will be held at the Forum in front of the audience. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday, July 1st.
