Berlin Major 2023 is a classic $500,000 Major event from the masters of their craft, ESL. The studio has previously hosted major tournaments ESL One Hamburg 2017, ESL One Katowice 2018 and ESL One Birmingham 2018.

ESL One Berlin Major 2023 will be the first tournament of this level in the German capital. The Berlin major will be hosted by the 12,000-seat Velodrom Arena.

The tournament will feature representatives from six competition regions that will qualify for the DPC series 2023: Tour II first divisions. There will be 18 such teams.

The Berlin Major 2023 will be divided into 4 teams from Western Europe and China, 3 teams from Eastern Europe and South East Asia and 2 teams from North and South America.

Format of The Berlin Major 2023

The Berlin Major 2023 tournament will be held according to a classical scenario for championships of this rank. The event will be divided into a group stage and a playoff.

The group stage will have a Single Round Robin format with two groups of 9 teams. The teams will play each other in B2 matches.

The next round is played between 12 teams, 6 from each group. The top 4 from each basket advance to the first round of the play-offs, the remaining teams advance to the bottom of the table.

The Berlin Major 2023 play-offs will take place from 5 to 7 at the Velodram Arena following a Double-Elimination format. All matches will be played until 2 wins (bo3), and the grand final until 3 wins (bo5).

Admission to the Berlin Major 2023 is divided into several levels. Regular Day, Regular Weekend, Infield seats & Godle Bag, The Ultimate Experience tickets are available.

Berlin Major 2023 tickets go for a minimum price of €19 (Regular Day) and access to all play-off days, a gift bag, free drinks and an exclusive tournament badge costs €279.
