Top Esports triumphed in the LPL 2025 Split 1, securing their place in the FST 2025 after defeating Anyone's Legend 3-1 in the Grand Final. Beichuan and Scout led the Group Stage with 4 MVPs each, while Creme dominated the Playoffs with 4 MVPs.
The 2025 League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Split 1 is the inaugural split of the thirteenth season of China's premier professional League of Legends league. The tournament commenced on January 12, 2025, and concluded on February 16, 2025. All matches were conducted offline in China.
LPL 2025 Split 1 Overview: Tournament Format
At Group Stage 16 teams were divided into four groups of four, based on their average final placements in the 2024 Spring and Summer splits. Each group engaged in a single round-robin format, with matches being best-of-five series. The top two teams from each group advanced to the playoffs.
Eight advancing teams competed in a knockout bracket at the Playoffs to determine the champion.
Winning this tournament guarantees a spot at First Stand 2025, the first major international League of Legends tournament of the year. Other teams also compete for a spot through regional tournaments similar to LPL Split 1. The FST 2025 will take place at the LoL Park in Seoul, South Korea, from March 10th to 16th.
