After a break of 3 days, matches in the main championship of the season resumed in New York. Group A opened the second stage of the group stage.

The four T1 , Edward Gaming , Fnatic and Cloud9 played a round-robin Round-Robin with bo1 matches, thus determining the names of the first two participants in the Worlds 2022 playoffs. The results of the last day in Group A are below.

They opened the round-robin Round-Robin Fnatic with a match against Cloud9. The North American champions managed to take a point of prestige and "squeeze" the card from Fnatic, avenging their defeat in the first stage of the group stage.

After a disappointing start, Fnatic played against T1. The South Korean giants fully repaid the “orange” for the only defeat during the Worlds 2022 group stages, ending the series at the 29th minute.

In the match number 3 and 4, EDward Gaming alternately played with Cloud9 and Fnatic. The reigning world champions were successful in both maps, finishing the first in 26 minutes and the second in 29.

The penultimate series was the meeting between T1 and Cloud9. There was no revelation here: Faker and the company moved C9 without any problems.

Group A was closed by EDward Gaming and T1. The principled derby ended 1-0 in favor of T1 at 28 minutes, essentially repeating the result of the first stage of the group stage.

Having dealt with the ups and downs of the events that took place in New York on the night of October 14, we can sum up the results of Group A. T1 and EDward Gaming will continue their path to Worlds 2022, while Fnatic and Cloud9 will leave the competition.
