Group B matches at the Worlds 2022 Play-In are over, and with them the first game day of the starting stage at the LoL World Championship has come to an end. After 4 bo1 series, we can draw preliminary conclusions regarding the strength of the teams and potential group winners.

So far, MAD Lions are the closest to the status of the team that will go directly to the group stage. The Lions have won 2 matches and after the first day of play they are ranked 1st at Worlds 2022 Play-In Group B.

In addition to the triumph in the debut from MAD Lions, it is worth noting the closing match between DRX and RNG. The Korean club in a bitter struggle outplayed the reigning champions MSI from RNG, thus leaving behind one of the direct competitors for a direct entry into the group stage.

Group B Play-In Worlds 2022 will return today at 00:00 CET with the match Saigon Buffalo - Isurus. The central duel of the second day will be the game between RNG and MAD Lions.

Recall that worlds 2022 will be held from September 29 to November 5 in four cities in Mexico and the United States. The world title match will take place at the Chase Center, San Francisco. The total prize fund of the tournament will be $2,225,000, and in total 24 teams will play in the tournament.
