Literally in 4 hours, the first of two games of the LCK Summer 2022 semi-finals, the main esports event in South Korea in League of Legends, will begin. Today, August 20, we are waiting for a game between one of the main favorites of the region Gen.G Esports and SANDBOX Gaming, who continue to amaze with their level of play in this split.

Gen.G vs Sandbox

To everyone's surprise, the SANDBOX Gaming team finally emerged from a rather long stagnation and, after 9th out of 10 places in the group stage in the spring split, finished the LCK Summer 2022 group stage in third place, almost catching up with T1.

Their rival Gen.G Esports were considered the main favorite at the previous LCK Spring 2022 split, but lost to T1, who went through the group stage flawlessly and turned out to be stronger in the playoffs. This time they held the lead, while losing almost three times fewer maps than their main competitor T1. By the way, according to the results of the group stage, four out of five players of the team are considered the best in their roles. Only the top liner Doran lagged behind them a little, taking the top 2, losing to the player T1 Zeus.
