The notorious T1 team from South Korea defeated DAMWON Gaming in the semi-finals of theLCK Summer 2022 summer split , thus securing a place at theWorlds 2022 Main Event, and also advanced to the LCK final, where they will fight against Gen.G Esports.

Today's game streak began with two relatively easy wins in a row for T1, where they got a good advantage by the 20th minute, and on the 25th they already finished the games. And already at this moment, many were waiting for a 3-0 in favor of T1, but DAMWON were able to respond with the same series of two wins of 25-30 minutes, largely due to the excellent game from their jungler Canyon, who earned two MVPs. In the third game, he showed a rather non-standard pick for the jungle - to Morgan, on which he received 100% participation in the kills, while never dying. The fourth game, in general, went according to the rules of DK, where Canyon took the dragons almost on revival. The fifth map became the longest, lasting 42 minutes, and the “cleanest”, it had minimal kills and the score was kept at 5 – 2 until the very last fight, but the DK roster could not oppose anything to the Zeri + Yumi combination on full slots in performed by Gumayusi and Keria.

By the way, for Gumayusi and Oner, the victory in the second of five games was the 100th in their career on the LCK, with which we can congratulate the cybersportsmen.

I remind you that the decisive match for the title of team number 1 within the LCK this summer will be held on August 28, exactly one week later. T1 will fight against Gen.G Esports, which are now, perhaps, the main favorite of the region. Even so, both teams will advance to the main event of the World Cup, Worlds 2022.

All other LCK Summer 2022 teams that qualified for the playoffs but did not reach the finals will go to the LCK 2022 Regional Finals. The start dates are still unknown, but they will definitely be announced after the final of the main split. The four losing teams will battle it out here in a double bracket for another Worlds 2022 Main Event spot for the winner and a Worlds 2022 Play-In for the finalist.
