Don't miss the start of the first matches of the LPL 2022 Summer Playoffs!

There are only a few hours left before the start of the LPL 2022 Summer Playoffs. In this material, you will learn about the format, participants and matches of the first day of play in the Chinese league of League of Legends.

The top 10 teams from the LPL 2022 Summer will take part. The playoff bracket is divided into two parts. The first one is presented in the form of Single Elimination and is held according to the “King of the Hill” principle, it hosts matches from the first three rounds. Then the participants go to the Double Elimination brackets, where they will determine the champion of the LPL 2022 Summer Playoffs.

The format of all matches is bo5. The current patch is 12.15.

Recall that the LPL 2022 Summer Playoffs will be held on August 16 to September 1 of this year in a LAN format. The top 10 teams in China compete for a ¥4,200,000 (~$618,583) prize pool and ranking points. The winner, in addition to the main prize of ~$294,563, will receive a slot in the Worlds 2022 Main Event.
