And there is a lot at stake. Even if the cash prizes are not taken into account, all teams have the opportunity to get a pass to the annual League of Legends world championship, that is, Worlds 2022. The total prize pool in China is approximately $622,905 USD, while in Korea it is approximately $289,597 USD, considering currency fluctuations. But only one winning team from each region will get to Worlds 2022, but the teams that have reached the LPL and LCK finals will be able to test their strength in the Play-In stage, where they will have the opportunity to qualify for the World Championship through qualifying games with finalists from other continents.

T1, who finished the group stage at LCK Spring 2022 without a single defeat, began to play noticeably worse, as even the players themselves said, dissatisfied with their game. At this time, their main competitor, Gen.G Esports, is in extremely good shape and sets the bar for the entire tournament with the level of their game and is still the main contender for victory.
