On the eve of the summer split, the organizers of the Korean LoL League, LCK, decided to update the set of rules regarding how esportsmen and other representatives of clubs should behave in the arena.

The list consists of five items:

  1. The decision to take part [inmatches] is in the hands of the player himself
  2. Infected players can take part in matches, but must do so online in the quarantine zone
  3. Judges should not appear in quarantine zones
  4. Cameras and sound recording will be installed to prevent dishonest fighting
  5. All healthy players must participate in matches with the LCK Arena without fail

LCK Summer 2022 will be held from June 15 to August 28. The total prize pool of the League of Legends championship in Korea will be almost $297,000. The winner will receive the main reward of $158,303 and an invitation to the 2022 World Championship. The vice-champion and bronze medalist, in turn, will receive cash prizes of $79,151 and $39,576, respectively, as well as rating points in the form of 100 and 80 units, respectively.
