Cloud9 says goodbye to Worlds 2021

The last quarter-finals of Worlds 2021 are behind. Cloud9 and Gen.G played for the right to advance to the next round of the playoffs.

The fight turned out to be spectacular, but the result is not quite. The players of the North American club imposed a fight on every map, but they never managed to win a single one.

Gen.G won 3-0, sending Cloud9 home. For the first time since 2017, there will be no representative of the "Western" scene at the League of Legends World Championship.

The next round of the playoffs starts on October 30. T1 and Damwon Gaming will play in the first match for reaching the grand final.
