MSI 2025: An Incredible Showdown Between Bilibili Gaming and FlyQuest

Add as a Preferred Source

Today saw an incredibly close match between Bilibili Gaming and FlyQuest. The match took place in Lower Bracket Round 2, which meant the losing team would be eliminated from the tournament.

On paper, Bilibili Gaming looked like the absolute favorite in this match. FlyQuest, although they've shown a high level of play over the past year, still delivered a much stronger performance than I expected.

It was a very competitive series that went the full five maps. The fifth and final map was so close it really felt like FlyQuest might pull it off and advance. But Bilibili Gaming didn’t earn their favorite status for nothing - they managed to close it out, winning the series 3-2.

Unfortunately for FlyQuest and their fans, this means they’re out of the tournament, finishing in an honorable 5th-6th place. Bilibili Gaming move forward in the lower bracket to Round 3, where they'll face Anyone's Legend - a team that beat them twice in LPL 2025 Split 2, both in the upper bracket final and in the grand final.
