Today we witnessed an incredible clash between two of the world’s best teams, Gen.G and T1, in the grand final of the Mid-Season Invitational 2025. The match turned out to be one of the most spectacular of the tournament, truly worthy of a final.

The series began with a win for T1, where Faker on Orianna and Gumayusi on Jhin played a flawless game with KDAs of 7/0/10 and 6/0/10 respectively. On the second map, Gen.G’s mid laner all but single-handedly carried his team to victory with Ryze, finishing with a KDA of 11/1/9.

In game three, Gen.G looked completely lost, as T1’s extremely aggressive draft smothered them, ending the map with a scoreline of 20/2/49. After such a dominant display, many thought Gen.G wouldn’t be able to come back. But game four saw Gen.G regroup and answer back, taking the map convincingly with a score of 13/3/36.

The decisive fifth game determined the winner of this thrilling series. Gen.G’s top laner Kiin left T1 with no chance, playing Aatrox to a 9/2/2 scoreline. The entire fifth game was under Gen.G’s control, and they deservedly closed it out 15:4.

As a result, Gen.G are the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 Champions! The MVP of the final was Gen.G’s mid laner, Chovy.
