The outgoing 2021 was a watershed year for esports. Following the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the industry has experienced a rebirth, as evidenced by the numbers.
Forbes has estimated the esports market in 2021 at $ 1.08 billion. Their calculation was based on the forecasts of the Chinese analytical firm Newzoo.
The figure is double that of the ill-fated 2020. Inspired by this amount, we decided to recall how long we played in the “title” esports disciplines in 2021 and which clubs became tycoons during this period.
Dota 2
