Chinese teams participating in DreamLeague Season 13 cannot return home due to coronavirus

Information about this appeared on the portal VPEsports, which cited sources close to eSports clubs. Players from ViCi Invictus and Team Aster cannot return to their homes after the tournament due to the emerging coronavirus and now live in Hubei Province, which is located near Wuhan. The latter, by the way, is the site of the outbreak of the virus and, in combination, the epicenter of the ongoing actions associated with the coronavirus.

One of the Team Aster players, on the contrary, ended up in the quarantine zone and now he does not have access to a computer and therefore cannot play.

According to information from many sources, Chinese teams want to ask Valve to postpone their Chinese qualification matches to ESL One Los Angeles 2020, as many teams lack the ability to play Dota 2 .

Coronavirus appeared in Wuhan last December. Now it is estimated that more than 4,450 people have become infected with this disease. The virus has already taken 107 lives, and according to recent indicators, the coronavirus has begun to spread outside of China, namely in Southeast Asia, the USA, Australia, France, Canada and Germany.

At the moment, a vaccine to combat the emerging coronavirus has not yet been developed. Chinese authorities are struggling with the spread of the disease through various restrictions. So they banned the holding of mass events related to the Chinese New Year, and the most dangerous cities were isolated and declared a quarantine zone.
