PARIVISION edge past HEROIC 2–1 in Group D tiebreaker at Esports World Cup 2025 (BO3)
PARIVISION defeated South America's HEROIC 2–1 in the Group D tiebreaker at the Esports World Cup 2025, locking in second seed for the playoff bracket.
Game one ended in an ultra-rare 14–14 tie after a dead-even 32-minute standoff. Both teams played it safe and farmed patiently, with Yuma and Satanic showing strong laning phases. Despite late-game clashes, neither side could break the balance before time expired.
HEROIC struck back hard in game two. Yuma exploded on his carry pick, with 4nalog joining fights early and frequently to overwhelm PARIVISION’s supports. Scofield led the charge with a flurry of initiations, and the South Americans cruised to a 39–23 win to take the lead.
But PARIVISION dug deep in the decider. The match went over an hour, and Satanic was the difference-maker once again, scaling into a late-game beast. None delivered key kills in crucial fights, while Dukalis saved his team multiple times with game-saving disruptions. In the final moments, a decisive Roshan fight broke HEROIC’s momentum, and PARIVISION closed out the 26–22 victory to take the series.

With this result, PARIVISION lock in second place in Group D with a 2–1–1 record and move into the playoffs. HEROIC fall to third and are eliminated despite a close run. Team Liquid top the group at 2–1–0, while Shopify Rebellion finish winless. The playoff draw is expected to be revealed within the next 24 hours.
