Gaimin Gladiators sweep Execration 2–0 at the Esports World Cup 2025 (BO2)
Western Europe’s Gaimin Gladiators opened Day 2 of Group B with a dominant 2–0 win over Southeast Asia’s Execration at the Esports World Cup 2025.
Map 1 was all about tempo. Quinn exploded out of mid with perfect rotations and zero deaths, setting up clean kills and fast towers. Ace followed through with control on the front line, while Malady quietly racked up assists from start to finish. Gladiators ended it in 33 minutes, taking a convincing 34–17 win. Game 2 was more of the same. watson’s carry play was clinical—never overextending, always converting objectives. tOfu and Malady once again lit up the kill feed with excellent support setups, as Gaimin closed out the second map 30–13 in just over 32 minutes.

With this result, Gaimin Gladiators rise to 3–1 and share the top of Group B with BB Team. Execration drop to 1–3 and are now on the brink of elimination. On July 10, Gaimin will take on Team Falcons in their final group series, while Execration face BB Team in a must-win situation if they want to stay alive in the playoff race.
