ESL One Raleigh 2025: Day 1 Playoffs Recap
Greetings to all Dota 2 and esports fans! We're back with updates on one of the biggest tournaments of the year — ESL One Raleigh. As you already know, 12 of the best teams are competing for a $1 million prize pool. The tournament is slowly reaching its final stage, and as of the 11th, the first matches of the playoffs have already been played. In this article, we’ll take a look at the outcomes of the Upper Bracket Semifinals and what’s next at ESL One Raleigh 2025.

PARIVISION vs. Tundra Esports
The playoffs kicked off with a match between PARIVISION and Tundra Esports. Both teams performed well during the group stage, so there was no clear favorite going into the match. It’s worth noting that all matches in the playoffs — except for the Grand Final (bo5) — are played in a best-of-three (bo3) format, which means fans will get to enjoy more exciting matches than during the group stage.

The first map of this series was highly unexpected. The game lasted only 27 minutes, with PARIVISION absolutely dismantling Tundra Esports in a dominant 20-3 win. PARIVISION played extremely solid in the lanes and made a few surprise kills that allowed them to snowball ahead.
Tundra’s response didn’t take long. On the second map, the situation flipped. The team struck back with a 27-18 win in 36 minutes.
The third and deciding map was even more surprising than the first. Tundra Esports played with explosive tempo and gave PARIVISION no chance for a comeback. From the opening minutes, they secured key kills and closed the game in just 20 minutes with a 28-6 score.
As a result, Tundra Esports defeated PARIVISION 2-1 and advance to the Upper Bracket Final, where they will face the winner of Team Falcons vs. Team Spirit. PARIVISION drops to the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals, where they will meet the winner of Team Liquid vs. AVULUS.
Team Falcons vs. Team Spirit
The clash between Team Falcons and Team Spirit was quite similar to the PARIVISION vs. Tundra series, but more evenly matched. On the first map, Team Falcons gained an early lead, but Team Spirit stayed in the game, dragging the match to 45 minutes. Still, Falcons took the win with a 33-16 score.

The second map was the complete opposite. This time, Team Spirit took control from the start and gave Team Falcons no breathing room. A quick 30-6 win in just 29 minutes.
The decider was a bit more competitive, but Falcons once again couldn’t withstand Spirit’s aggressive tempo. Though they held their ground early on, they lost momentum as the game progressed. Team Spirit sealed the deal with a 32-12 victory in 43 minutes.
With this 2-1 win, Team Spirit move on to the Upper Bracket Final, where they will face Tundra Esports. Team Falcons fall to the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals to face the winner of BB Team vs. Nigma Galaxy.
The next matches of the ESL One Raleigh 2025 Playoffs will take place on April 11. Stay updated on all matches and results at EGamersWorld
