Natus Vincere defeated Mind Games in a competitive fight as part of the DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I
Maksym ShylovThe match between Natus Vincere and Mind Games in the first division of Eastern Europe has ended. NaVi are approaching the match as one of the favorites of the region and contenders for the coveted slot in the Major. At the moment, the team's statistics are 3-1, and the only loss was against the champions of The International 10, Team Spirit. Mind Games are fighting for survival in Division I with 1-3 stats.
Natus Vincere started the first map quite actively. Using the mobility of Void Spirit, as well as regular movement around the map from Solo on Skywrath Mage, they managed to get 6 kills in the 9th minute and lead in gold with a 2,000 advantage. At the 16th minute, Ax kills the mid player of the Mind Games team with the help of his allies and reduces the score to 14:5 in favor of the Born to Win. The effectiveness of NAVI's play is confirmed by the fact that V-Tune on Sniper and No[o]ne on Void Spirit outran Dinozavrik, who played on Medusa, in terms of farming. Closer to the middle of the game, MG managed to equalize the situation and seize the gold advantage. And on the 31st minute there was a turning point in the confrontation. Despite the presence of Aegis of the Immortal in NAVI's Void Spirit, Mind Games managed to kill four opponent's heroes and not lose any of their own. After that, the Born to Win began to gradually lose and make mistakes. At the 49th minute, after losing another fight, V-Tune decided to use the last chance and bought Divine Rapier with the score at 35:26 and the advantage of over 40,000 gold from the opponent. But it did not help and NAVI wrote “gg” in the chat 51 minutes after the start of the match.
Mind Games continued their more confident performance on the second map. However, in the 18th minute, Natus Vincere managed to kill Roshan without a fight, which leveled the situation a bit. 10 minutes later, the Ukrainian team once again killed the strongest creep on the map. And then again. Team NAVI's aggressive moves put them ahead by over 22,000 gold at 44 minutes, and Mind Games was missing the top side, part of the mid lane, and one T4. As a result, Solo and the team managed to bring the series to the decisive map.
The final confrontation for NAVI did not start in the best way. The team was unable to draw first blood on the opponent's Bloodseeker, but lost two heroes in return. But due to successful farming, the team was able to offset this oversight and in the 17th minute was leading in gold by 3,000, and the score was 5:7 in favor of Mind Games. In general, the decisive map was rather passive. However, Natus Vincere started pushing actively after killing the first Roshan. At the 34th minute, Mind Games had already destroyed two lines: the central and the bottom. After winning a few more fights and breaking the last side, the Born to Win recorded another victory in their statistics.
