The champions of The International 10, Team Spirit, are extremely confident in Tour 3. Until the fifth week of the DPC league, the team did not lose a single map, having outplayed the rosters of such teams as Pari Parni, Natus Vincere, Rune Eaters Esports and One Move with a score of 2:0. Unexpectedly for everyone, Yatoro and his teammates were unable to defeat the Outsiders on two maps in a row. In the last match, Team Spirit outplayed Mind Games and reduced the tournament statistics to 5-1. The club is rightfully one of the favorites of its region.

BetBoom Team started the season not in the best way, losing to Natus Vincere with a score of 0:2, but after that they managed to rehabilitate themselves. SoNNeikO and his wards outplayed Mind Games, One Move and Pari Parni on their way with a score of 2:0. The only team that was able to hold a full series against the BetBoom Team was the outsiders of the tournament, the team Rune Eaters Esports. But in the end, SoNNeikO and the team also prevailed over them. BetBoom Team played their last match so far against the Outsiders, to whom the club lost in a competitive fight with a score of 1:2. Now the organization has a tournament statistics of 4-2 and in case of victory they will be able to play a tiebreaker for the right to go to the second Major of the season. At ESL One Stockholm, they finished in 7-8th place, earning $12,500 and 240 DPC points.

The last time both participants played against each other was on April 27 this year as part of the DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I Playoffs. Then in the quarterfinals of the upper bracket, SoNNeikO and the team defeated the world champions with a score of 2:1. As a result, this did not prevent Spirit from also qualifying for the Major. Team Spirit and BetBoom Team will clearly aim to win, because both teams show a decent performance and want to go to the PGL Arlington Major.
