Preview Games Clash Masters 2019
Ihor MatusFURIA Esports (place in the HLTV ranking - # 13)
FURIA Esports are approaching the championship as one of the main favorites of the competition. The team is not only located in 13th place in the list of the best CS: GO squads in the world according to the HLTV portal, but they are also in great shape. Proof of this is the recently concluded Arctic Invitational 2019 with a prize pool of € 100,000. There, in the final, FURIA beat the equally strong CR4ZY with a score of 2-0 and became champions of the Finnish tournament, in which they did not lose a single card. Everyone knows the fact that the Brazilian team has a friendly atmosphere that benefits the team and its results. Recall that a few months ago the MIBR wanted to outbid some FURIA players, but the latter refused in favor of the stability of their roster. This is not so common in eSports , and therefore we are confident in the strong morality of FURIA. All representatives of FURIA have excellent individual performance: none of the Brazilians has a rating below unity. The only thing that can get in their way is a climate change and if the players do not have time to adapt, then they risk showing lower results than those that we expect.
FURIA Esports roster and player ratings:
Yuri 'yuurih' Gomes - 1.17 Andrei 'arT' Piovezan - 1.12 Vinicius 'VINI' Figueiredo - 1.00 Kaike 'KSCERATO' Cerato - 1.22 Rinaldo 'ableJ' Moda - 1.00 Nicholas 'guerri' Nogueira - trainer
DreamEaters (place in the HLTV ranking - # 18)
The success of DreamEaters in the upcoming tournament is a controversial subject. The current lineup has appeared on the world stage due to its performance at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019. There, by the way, DreamEaters were not the biggest difficulty. Due to the fact that C9 lost their slot in the LAN finals, the organizers decided to issue three invites for participants of the 3rd Place Play-In and DreamEaters, as a result, went to the Challengers Stage, and then to the Legends Stage. There the team took 15-16th place, which is not a very good result, but, nevertheless, it exceeded the expectations of many spectators. Considering the level of participants in Games Clash Masters 2019, DreamEaters should at least take 3-4 places in the standings, but if they fail, then we will not be very surprised.
DreamEaters roster and player rankings:
Anton 'speed4k' Titov - 1.04 Semyon 'kinqie' Lisitsyn - 1.04 Vladislav 'Krad' Kravchenko - 1.07 Igor 'Forester' Fatherless - 1.01 Svyatoslav 'svyat' Dovbach - 1.02 Alexander 'zoneR' Bogatyrev - coach
BIG (place in the HLTV ranking - # 22)
BIG have a protracted black band that lasts from last year. There are no good changes in the team that would contribute to a significant improvement in the results. A month and a half ago, the legendary German player gob b left the team, and English cybersportsman smooya took his place. Now tabseN took over the duties of the captain, with whom he would need to get used to it for some time and change his playing style. At the moment, BIG have a series of seven victories in Bo3 fights, but do not forget that the matches were won in tournaments that were insignificant for their opponents. This means that the resistance from the opponents was not as impressive as it could be. At this event, the teams will do their best to snatch as much as possible a piece of the total prize pool of $ 100,000. In the best case, BIG will take 3-4 place, but for this the Germans will have to work hard. We do not expect more.
BIG roster and player ratings:
Johannes 'tabseN' Wodarz - 1.18 Johannes 'nex' Maget - 1.17 Tizian 'tiziaN' Feldbusch - 0.98 Owen 'smooya' Butterfield - 1.17 Can 'XANTARES' Dortkardes - 1.18 Tobias 'tow b' Herberhold - trainer
Syman Gaming (place in the HLTV ranking - # 24)
Syman is a weak enough team to compete with opponents of the Tier-1 and Tier-2 level, however in this competition they can manage to compete for getting into the top four. Nevertheless, we doubt that this roster will be able to achieve good results at the Games Clash Masters 2019. Recall that, in addition to the second place in the CIS Minor Championship - Berlin 2019, the team was not able to show any good results. By the way, representatives of Syman Gaming have been playing together for a long time, but they can’t improve their game form in any way.
Syman roster and player ratings:
Sanjar 'neaLaN' Ishkakov - 0.98 Maxim 't0rick' Zaikin - 0.95 Ilya 'Perfecto' Zalutsky - 1.09 Ramadan 'Ramz1kBOrsquo; Bashizov - 1.05 Nicholas 'Keoz' Dgus - 0.96 Asset 'Solaar' Sembiev - coach
Sprout (place in the HLTV ranking - # 33)
Sprout, it would seem, had good results in some of the latest events in which they took part. Despite this, the team is currently in bad shape, as evidenced by the history of matches. Of the six September official meetings, the Germans won only one of them. However, it cannot be said that their opponents were too formidable. They could not beat Windigo Gaming, Se7en, Movistar Riders, OpTic Gaming and forZe. They could only defeat Heretics. We don’t think that in Games Clash Masters 2019 Sprout will be able to at least leave the group. They ended up in one four with Aristocracy , DreamEaters and Syman Gaming. In this case, it will be very difficult for them to stay in the top 2 of their group.
Sprout roster and player ratings:
Timo 'Spiidi' Richter - 0.99 Josef 'faveN' Baumann - 1.07 Florian 'syrsoN' Rische - 1.15 Nils 'k1to' Gruhne - 1.07 Denis 'denis' Howell - 0.88 Niclas 'enkay J' Krumhorn - trainer
Aristocracy (place in the HLTV ranking - # 41)
Aristocracy joined Group A as did DreamEaters, Syman, and Sprout. For this reason, the Polish team will have very good chances of leaving the group. In our opinion, only representatives of DreamEaters who have performed well at the Major tournament can make serious competition in our opinion. In general, Aristocracy is now the strongest Polish team to be reckoned with. The game form of the Poles leaves much to be desired, so we believe that in the standings the team will be in 3-4 places. They will take 2nd place only under very well-established circumstances.
Aristocracy roster and player ratings:
Mikolaj 'mouz' Karolewski - 1.04 Karol 'rallen' Rodowicz - 1.17 Wiktor 'TaZ' Wojtas - 0.93 Jacek 'MINISE' Jeziak - 1.11 Pawel 'dycha' Dycha - 1.17 Mariusz 'Loord' Cybulski - Trainer
Illuminar Gaming (ranked HLTV - # 69)
Illuminar Gaming is one of the outsiders of the tournament. The reason for this is the lack of good results over time and the stagnation formed in the team. This roster was assembled back in May, but over the past time, it could only take 3-4 places in the regional Polish tournament and 2 place in the UCC Summer Smash, which, by the way, had several interesting participants in the person of AVANGAR, Tricked Esport and others. We do not expect a good game from Illuminar Gaming, and the 5-6 or 7-8 place occupied by the Poles is the most predictable scenario.
The composition of the Illuminar Gaming and player ratings:
Damiel 'STOMP' Plominski - 1.08 Oskar 'oskarish' Stenborowski - 1.02 Michal 'mono' Gabszewicz - 1.02 Pawel 'innocent' Mocek - 1.06 Pawel 'reatz' Janczak - 0.99
AGO (place in the HLTV ranking - # 167)
AGO Gaming, in our opinion (and not only), is the main outsider in this competition. The team recently held another permutation, and its approach to doing business is somewhat similar to the system in League of Legends . The Poles decided to sign six players, and the coach will now collect the optimal five for each competition. Such a policy is unlikely to lead the AGO to victory in this championship. Moreover, we believe that the team will not be able to leave the group and most likely will take 7-8th place.
The composition of AGO Gaming and player ratings:
Damian 'Furlan' Kislowski - 1.04 Dominik 'GruBy' Swiderski - 0.94 Eryk 'leman' Koceba - 0.94 Milosz 'mhL' Knasiak - 1.13 Patryk 'Sidney' Korab - 1.07 Maciej 'F1KU' Miklas - 0.95 Mikolaj 'miNIr0x' Michalkow - trainer
