Young Ninjas becomes the first grand finalist of WePlay Academy League Season 1. In the final of the upper bracket, the Swedish team was stronger than mouz NXT with a score of 2: 1 (Inferno - 11:16; Vertigo - 19:17; Mirage - 16: 5).

The fight began on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the young Swedes. However, mouz NXT showed solid defensive play, taking the lead by the end of the first half. Then the teams began to exchange a series of rounds, which still did not help Young Ninjas return to the game - 11:16.

On the second map, the situation was exactly equal until the teams played two halves. Having failed to identify the strongest after 30 rounds, the youth went into overtime, for which the Young Ninjas players turned out to be more prepared - 19:17.

By the third map, mouz NXT finally fell, raising a white flag already in the course of the first half. The Swedes were noticeably superior in understanding and knowledge of the map, which resulted not only in a comfortable advantage over the side switching, but also in a natural victory with a score of 16: 5.

Today, August 29, the grand final of WePlay Academy League Season 1 will take place. In it, Young Ninjas will face the winner of the mouz NXT/fnatic Rising match.

WePlay Academy League Season 1 takes place from August 27 to 29 in Kiev at WePlay Esports Arena. Four teams are fighting for the right to become the best youth squad, as well as a prize pool of $ 88,000. In this case, the winner of the competition will immediately receive $ 45,000.
