mouz NXT wins WePlay Academy League Season 1

WePlay Academy League Season 1 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held from August 27 to 29 in Kiev at the WePlay Esports Arena, the four best youth teams fought for a prize pool of $ 88,000. The mouz NXT team became the champion of this cabin, which confidently beat Young Ninjas with a score of 3: 1 in the grand final, earning $ 45,000.

The tournament for the future winner started very modestly, as mouz NXT had some problems, but still beat BIG Academy (16:10; 16:10). Then the team faced a tense battle with Young Ninjas, which ended in favor of the Swedes (1: 2). Having fallen into the lower bracket, the team had to show coolness, getting involved in the marathon in the form of two matches in a row. The final itself kicked off with a Young Ninjas advantage as the Swedes climbed the upper bracket unbeaten. However, this factor did not break mouz NXT, who analyzed in detail all the mistakes on Mirage, leaving the audience in shock - 16: 2. Then a stubborn struggle began on the Nuke map, which ended with a confident defense against mouz NXT and a victory with a score of 16:11. Inspired by their success, the guys ran to squeeze the Swedes, who tried to fight only in the first half of Inferno. However, after the changeover, mouz NXT seized the initiative, recording the final victory - 16: 9.
