The four participating teams have learned the schedule of the upcoming playoffs of WePlay Academy League Season 1. The official announcement of the schedule took place on the tournament organizer's Twitter account. Let us remind you that the championship will be held from August 27 to 29 at the WePlay Esports Arena in Kiev. The four teams will share a total prize pool of $ 88,000.

Note that out of eight teams that started at the online stage of WePlay Academy League Season 1, only four teams made it to the finals. At the end of the group stage, they were mouz NXT, Young Ninjas and BIG Academy. The last participant was determined by the results of the online playoff stage - in the grand final, Fnatic Rising turned out to be stronger than NAVI Junior.

On Friday, August 27th, there will be two matches: first, mouz NXT will face the BIG Academy, while in the evening there will be a match between Young Ninjas and Fnatic Rising.

The tournament format assumes the presence of two grids. The winners of the starting matches will remain in the upper bracket, while the losing teams will have another chance in the “losers” bracket. All matches will be played in BO3 format, while the grand final will be played on five maps (with an advantage for the team that made it through the upper bracket).
