stanislaw decided to skip the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 14. The 27-year-old Canadian player decided to take a vacation and return to his homeland, as "mentally unprepared for more international travel and competition" after the team's long stay in Europe before the break.

The captain of Evil Geniuses announced that he intends to return before the BLAST Premier Fall in September, while the coach of the team, who has recently been daps, will try on the role of a player in the next tournament. Stanislaw himself asked for more time after the break that ends August 15, citing a lack of willingness to undertake more international travel and competition after Evil Geniuses' long stays in Europe at the end of the season.

"Rather than overexerting both mentally and physically, I plan to spend the next few weeks at home, fully anticipating a reunion with my team in Europe ahead of BLAST Premier Fall," said the 27-year-old Canadian player.

The loss of the captain will be a hard blow for the team after they finished the previous season on a disappointing note, finishing last in the BLAST Premier Spring Final and failing to qualify for the IEM Cologne 2021.

Note that Evil Geniuses will go to Europe again before the start of ESL Pro League Season 14. Evil Geniuses are in the same group with Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, BIG, mousesports and fnatic. At this tournament, daps will go to the server as a player for the first time in almost a year. His last match was in September 2020, when he was about to leave Gen.G and join VALORANT. The Canadian returned to CS: GO in June, replacing zews as coach of Evil Geniuses.
