The second open qualifier has come to an end. As a result, Triumph and Team One became the last participants in the closed qualifier. In the final bout, Triumph beat Imperial Esports 2-1, while Team One beat Third Impact 2-0.

As a reminder, earlier O Plano and RBG Esports showed excellent play in the first open qualifier and made their way to the closed qualifying round. Bad News Bears, Extra Salt, GODSENT and paiN Gaming, in turn, received direct invitations there.

The closed qualifier for cs_summit 8 will be held from 14 to 18 May. All the confrontations will be held in the Bo3 format, and the teams will fight in the double-elimination bracket. The four best teams will earn their places on cs_summit 8.

The main event cs_summit 8 starts on May 20 and ends on the 30th. The total prize pool of the American tournament will be $ 50,000, and eight roasters will participate in its distribution. Evil Geniuses, EXTREMUM, FURIA Esports and Team Liquid became invited participants of the championship.
