The first open qualifier for cs_summit 8 has come to an end. As a result, O Plano and RBG Esports showed the best result and advanced to the closed qualifying round. In the final confrontation, O Plano and RBG Esports beat Triumph and Third Impact, respectively, with a score of 2-0.

The teams will face teams such as Bad News Bears, Extra Salt, GODSENT and paiN Gaming in a closed qualifier, which have received direct invitations from the organizers. The remaining two participants will be determined through a second open qualifying round.

As part of the closed qualifier, four invites to cs_summit 8 will be played. The qualifying round will take place from May 14 to 18.

Cs_summit 8, in turn, starts on May 20 and ends on the 30th. The total prize pool of the rating championship will be $ 50,000 and 10,000 rating points. It will be divided by eight participants. Four of them are already known, as they received direct invitations from the organizers following the results of the current RMR season. Evil Geniuses, EXTREMUM, FURIA Esports and Team Liquid entered the circle of favorites, taking 1-4 lines in the North American rating table.
