Team Spirit lost the ability to enter IEM Cologne 2021 directly

Yesterday G2 won the DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 quarterfinal match against Astralis and advanced to the semifinals, where they will fight with Gambit Esports for reaching the grand final. This course of events allowed Nicola 'NiKo' Kovacs and his teammates to earn enough points to qualify for Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2021 and deprived Team Spirit of this opportunity. The latter will no longer be able to get into the top 6 of their regional rating, where the zone of participants receiving direct invitations to the Major tournament is located. However, Spirit will have the opportunity to play in the Play-In stage at IEM Cologne 2021.
