Liquid completed a remarkable comeback from the 0-2 pool and eliminated Astralis from the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 — the team confidently swept the Danish roster 2:0, dominating on both Nuke and Mirage to secure their spot in the third stage with a 3-2 record.

Nuke (13:7 Liquid)

The first half turned into a nightmare for Astralis. Liquid started Nuke with complete control on the CT side. The Danes had no answers on the attack, managing to win only a single round as the half ended in a crushing 11:1 score. While it seemed the second half would be quick, Astralis managed to find some footing and picked up six rounds, but it wasn’t enough for a comeback. Liquid closed Nuke 13:7.

Mirage (13:9 Liquid)

On their own map pick, Liquid kept up their confident performance. Playing on the T side, they faced little resistance and secured a 7:5 lead by halftime. Astralis attempted to shift the momentum, but Liquid built a strong defensive half and closed out Mirage 13:9 without major issues.

Match MVP

The hero of the match was ultimate, whose strong performance secured Liquid's place in Stage 3. His stats: ADR — 91.2, Swing +6.80%, and a 1.54 rating.

Emotions ran high among the team and fans following the victory over Astralis.
