Imperial edged out M80 in a dramatic 2–1 series to secure their spot in the third stage of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. The Brazilian squad managed to close out two tight maps, while M80 crushed their opponents on Dust2 but ultimately dropped to the 2–2 pool, where they will continue fighting for a place in the next stage.

Mirage (13:11 Imperial)

M80 came close to winning their own map pick. In the first half, Imperial controlled the map with a well-structured defense, securing 9 rounds. The situation improved once M80 switched to the CT side and showcased solid defense of their own. Two four-round streaks allowed them to take the lead at 11:10, but Imperial held firm and closed out Mirage 13:11.

Dust2 (13:2 M80)

On Imperial’s pick, M80 looked completely at home. From the opening rounds, the Brazilian side collapsed on the T side and won only two rounds. It was an effortless map for M80, as their opponents offered little resistance, resulting in a dominant 13:2 victory.

Train (13:11 Imperial)

The decisive Nuke turned into a tense battle for both teams. Imperial held the early momentum, but by round seven M80 managed to disrupt their rhythm and tie the half 6:6. On the CT side, M80 were close to finishing the map 13:10, but Imperial once again found the strength to close it out, taking the win 13:11.
