
NiP defeat Astralis in the opening match of StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2
StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 kicked off its second stage with a notable result — NiP claimed a confident victory over Astralis on Nuke (13:10), setting the tone for the opening matchups of the phase. The Danes started strong, but the Ninjas quickly regained control and closed out the map thanks to a solid defensive display, beginning Stage 2 with a 1-0 record.

NiP had the opportunity to choose between Overpass and Nuke in their match against Astralis, and they opted to leave Nuke in the pool. The map began in Astralis’ favor as they took a 4:0 lead on the CT side, but by the end of the first half NiP had turned the tide and pulled ahead 7:5. In the second half, the Danes briefly regained the lead, but NiP built a strong defensive wall that ultimately secured the 13:10 victory.
