FURIA confidently defeated Aurora 2:0 (13:11, 13:5) in the semifinals of the Thunderpick World Championship 2025, becoming the first team to secure a spot in the Grand Final. KSCERATO and molodoy were the stars of the series, delivering standout individual performances for the Brazilian squad.

Train (13:11 FURIA)

The match kicked off on Train, Aurora’s map pick. In the first half, FURIA dominated their opponent’s choice and secured 9 rounds. In the second half, Aurora found their rhythm on the CT side, closing the gap and taking the lead at 12:11. However, FURIA managed to stay composed, turning the tide and closing out the map 13:11.

Overpass (13:5 FURIA)

On their own pick, Aurora looked more competitive early on and managed to end the first half 5:7. Things changed drastically once FURIA switched to the CT side. Aurora’s offense on Overpass fell apart completely — they couldn’t win a single round, allowing FURIA to finish the map comfortably at 13:5.

Match MVP

Although all FURIA players ended with positive stats, KSCERATO and molodoy stood out as the top performers. KSCERATO achieved the highest ADR at 90.8, while team sniper molodoy recorded the best Swing at +3.4% and a 1.36 rating.

For Aurora, the tournament isn’t over yet — they will face the loser of the NAVI vs The Mongolz match in the battle for third place. Meanwhile, FURIA move on to the Grand Final, where they’ll face the winner of that matchup. The Thunderpick World Championship 2025 takes place from October 15–19, featuring a total prize pool of $850,000 — $340,000 for the teams and $510,000 for the organizations.
