NAVI confidently defeated The MongolZ 2–0 (13:3 on Nuke, 16:13 on Ancient) to secure a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 22 playoffs. The Ukrainian team showcased both dominance on their map pick and resilience on the second map, with iM emerging as the standout performer — posting a 1.51 rating and several clutch plays that helped NAVI close the series without needing a decider.

Nuke (13:3 NAVI)

The match began on Nuke, NAVI’s map pick. Starting on the T side, NAVI controlled the pace despite some mistakes — including a lost eco round — and closed the first half 9–3. Switching to defense, the Ukrainian squad didn’t allow The MongolZ any chance to come back, finishing the map 13–3. iM delivered a phenomenal performance with 117.8 ADR, +9.33% Swing, and a 2.08 rating — his second-best Nuke of his career.

Ancient (16:12 NAVI)

On Ancient, The MongolZ looked much more dangerous. The first half was tightly contested, with both teams battling for every round. A few crucial mistakes from NAVI — such as losing a 5vs2 advantage — allowed The MongolZ to reach map point, but NAVI managed to push the game into overtime. In the extra rounds, NAVI’s aggressive T-side approach earned them 3 of 6 rounds, and once they switched to defense, they confidently closed out the map 16–13.

MVP of the Match

All NAVI players posted positive ratings and gave their all to secure this crucial victory. The best performer of the series was iM, with 98.1 ADR, +4.43% Swing, and a 1.51 rating. His individual play on both Nuke and Ancient was the key factor behind NAVI’s success.
