
Legacy Defeat NRG 2:1 at ESL Pro League Season 22
Legacy pulled off an impressive comeback against NRG, winning the series 2:1 in a Best-of-3 match during ESL Pro League Season 22. The map selection saw NRG start on Mirage while Legacy chose Nuke, with Dust2 becoming the decider after the bans were settled.
On Mirage, NRG dominated from the start, taking the first half 9:3. Legacy tried to mount a comeback in the second half but couldn’t close the gap, giving NRG a solid opening map victory at 13:6.
The second map, Nuke, was much closer. The first half ended tied at 6:6, but Legacy found their rhythm in the second half, winning 7 of 9 rounds and taking the map 13:8. This win shifted momentum and kept them in the series.
Dust2 became Legacy ’s strongest showing. They built an early lead in the first half at 8:4 and dominated the second half 5:1, securing the final map 13:5 and the overall series victory.
Legacy demonstrated resilience and strong mid-to-late game performance, overcoming an early deficit to take the last two maps convincingly and move forward in the tournament.











ESL Pro League is a series of major tournaments organized by ESL. In Season 22, twenty-four teams will compete in the main stage for a prize pool of $400,000, which will be distributed directly among the players. The main stage of the event will take place at the ESL Studio in Stockholm, Sweden.
