Lynn Vision defeat Falcons on Austin Major 2025 Stage 2

Lynn Vision delivered one of the biggest surprises of Stage 2 so far, taking down world #4 Falcons 13–9 on Nuke. After a tight first half (7–5 for Falcons), the Chinese squad rallied on their CT side with an 8–2 finish, led by a monstrous performance from Westmelon.

The Chinese rifler, z4kr went nuclear with 25 kills, 109.8 ADR, and a 1.62 rating, winning 89% of the community vote for Player of the Match. His highlight came in Round 10, where he ripped through the B site with a TEC9 and M4A1-S to secure a vital multi-kill swing round. Starry and EmiliaQAQ also held their ground in key moments, keeping Falcons from gaining any momentum late.

On Falcons’ side, NiKo and Magisk did their best to stabilize with 16 and 17 frags respectively, but m0NESY struggled to make impact on the AWP, finishing 12–17 with just 51.5 ADR. Falcons' team cohesion seemed off on both sides of the map, especially in late-round situations where Lynn Vision repeatedly outplayed them.

With this win, Lynn Vision climb to 1–1 in the Swiss format and prove they're not to be underestimated. Falcons fall to 0–2 and now face elimination in their next match—an unthinkable position for one of the tournament favorites.
