The MongolZ continued their strong form at PGL Astana 2025 with a convincing 2–0 sweep over Brazilian side MIBR in the Swiss Stage Round 2. With both teams entering the match at 1–0, it was the Mongolian squad that proved more composed, executing with precision on both Mirage and Anubis to advance to a 2–0 record in the group stage.

On Mirage, The MongolZ came out swinging with a dominant CT side, taking a 7–5 half and then locking down the map with a flawless 6–0 T-side finish. The synergy between Techno and Senzu was on full display, with both players topping the scoreboard.

Anubis saw more of the same. A blazing 10–2 CT start gave The MongolZ all the cushion they needed to close out the map 13–6. Despite MIBR showing some signs of life in the second half, the gap was too wide to overcome.

MIBR, meanwhile, struggled to match the tempo. Despite a decent showing from insani (26–26, 81.7 ADR), the rest of the Brazilian lineup failed to find impact, with exit and saffee struggling to stay afloat.
