The MongolZ Upset NAVI in 2-0 Sweep to Reach PGL Astana Playoffs
The MongolZ shocked the CS2 world with a clean 2-0 win over Natus Vincere in the 2-0 Swiss round at PGL Astana 2025. With this victory, the Mongolian squad secured a direct ticket to the playoffs, while NAVI will have to fight through the next round.
The match opened on Inferno, where NAVI led 8-4 at the half, but the MongolZ turned the tide with a dominant 9-3 CT side, closing the map 13-11. On Mirage, The MongolZ again showed composure under pressure, edging out another 13-11 win despite a dead-even second half. Dust2 was never played.

With this upset, The MongolZ continue their Cinderella run through PGL Astana, while NAVI will need to recalibrate before their next match if they want to join them in the playoffs.
