s1mple's Loan Will Not Be Extended in Team Falcons. Dupreeh, Snappi, and Maden Benched

Today it was announced that the three-month loan agreement for s1mple between Falcons and Natus Vincere has come to an end. Team Falcons will not extend the loan agreement and will move forward without the star AWPer.

At the same time, it was revealed that Dupreeh, Snappi, and Maden have been moved to the bench, signaling the start of major roster changes.

Reasons for the Decision

Falcons made this decision due to the team's unsatisfactory results both before and after s1mple ’s arrival. The addition of such a renowned player raised high expectations among fans and analysts, but the team failed to handle the pressure and showed inconsistent performance.

The last hope for this roster was the Shanghai Major 2024, but the team finished the group stage with a 1-3 record and was eliminated during the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: European RMR A/

Within the team, the lack of synergy, limited time for adaptation, and the challenge of building a playstyle around a star player in such a short period likely took their toll.

The organization Falcons Esports thanked all players for their efforts and announced that they will dedicate all their time and energy to rebuilding the roster for 2025, as stated on their Twitter account.

Current Team Falcons Roster

At present, only two key members remain on the team:

  • Magisk (Emil Reif) — Player
  • zonic (Danny Sørensen) — Coach

Team Falcons may build a new roster around Magisk under the leadership of the experienced coach zonic. The organization could focus on nurturing young talents or bringing in other experienced players to restore their competitiveness on the global stage.
