Cloud9 was unable to secure a win against Faze in the decisive match before the Major. The match ended 1-2, with the fate of the game being decided differently on each map. On Mirage, Faze won 13:6, Cloud9 claimed victory on Ancient with a 13:7 score, but on Inferno, Faze proved stronger once again, winning 13:6.

Both teams managed to qualify for the Major, but their paths in the tournament will differ. Cloud9 will start their run at the Opening Stage, while Faze will begin at the Elimination Stage, where they will fight for survival in the tournament.
