G2 without HooXi became the champions of IEM Dallas 2024!

The team G2 Esports, with the substitute player Jake "Stewie2k" Yip, who has been inactive on the professional scene for a while, won against Team Vitality in the grand final and became the champions! Stewie2k replaced the team's captain, Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, who missed the tournament for personal, family reasons.

The grand final of the tournament was extremely exciting, with the teams playing overtime on two maps. Only on the last deciding map, Nuke, did G2 show dominance on defense, winning it 13-8, which made them the champions of Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2024!

Sixteen teams competed at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, USA, for a prize pool of $250,000 and a spot at IEM Cologne 2024. The championship was won by G2 Esports.
