Team Vitality beat Apeks 2-0 to become the second finalist of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Here, the Danish-French team will play GamerLegion, who had sensationally defeated Heroic a few hours earlier. Apeks, on the other hand, left the Paris Major in 3rd-4th place for $80,000.

The final semi-final was played on the Mirage card, which turned out to be Apeks' choice. But while Long Cogneg left the initiative to Vitality players, closer to the change of sides the Europeans were able to level the gap to one round, 8-7. After the change of sides, the roster of Dan 'apEX' Madeskler quickly ran ahead, but Apeks attempted a comeback. Still, in the very end Vitality managed to take theirs, taking a 16-14 lead in the series.

The teams then moved on to the Vertigo map, which became Vitality's peak. However, the first half saw the Danish-French side outclass the rest of the way, with a solid attacking performance that saw them take a double-digit lead, 10-5. After the change of sides, Apeks managed to strain the favourite, but Vitality managed to come back and shut down their opponent with a subsequent 16-12 lead in the Grand Final.
