GamerLegion unexpectedly beat Heroic 2-1 to advance to the grand final of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Here, roster player Kamil "siuhy" Skaradek will play the winner of the next semi-final between Vitality and Apeks. For their part, the Danish team left the Paris major with a 3-4th place finish for $80,000.

The first semi-final of the championship saw Long compete on the Ancient map, which was chosen by GamerLegion. The European team got off to a flying start, with a solid attack. The Danes, in turn, came up with nothing in defence, gaining a two-goal lead before the change of sides, 10-5. However, the game was turned upside down in the second half as Heroic managed to break GamerLegion and take a quick comeback to take a 16-13 lead in the series.

From here on the match moved to Inferno, which was Heroic's choice. Here, the Danish team began to go back and forth, but the GamerLegion players quickly seized the initiative and closed the first half in their favour - 9-6. However, after the change, they hit an unexpected turnover that put the Danes in a deadlock and helped GamerLegion take the series to a 16-14 lead.

Everything was decided on the Mirage card, the first half of which ended with a double advantage in favor of the European team - 10:5. After switching sides, Heroic couldn't get back into the game, giving GamerLegion the coveted trip to the Grand Final - 16:6.
